Snake Costume

This was a fairly quick costume created for a work party, but it won me a prize and I think it looks pretty cool, so here it is!

For the ‘dress’, I used several meters of cheap snake fabric, 7 bags of wool stuffing (salvaged from Gousto boxes), a soldered wire frame, and a bunch of fake leaves. The face prosthesis were sculpted in plastiline and casted in latex, and were originally created as part of my LARP costume. I’m not really an expert when it comes to makeup, and it was applied in the work toilets (although it did take over an hour…), but it does looks pretty cool in the photos. Overall, I think I earned that Amazon voucher.
